Another sweet comment from a reader of Come Sit a Spell:Hey, friends near Thomasville, Georgia, #governerds, and @bookshelftville lovers, I will be signing books at the Famous Bookshelf (a governerd-owned business) in Thomasville next Sat. from 2-4. I would love to meet you and your friends, moms, sisters, daughters, husbands, or strangers you meet on the way. LOL. Mention you saw this on Instagram to get a little extra something with your book. I will also be giving away a Come Sit a Spell apron to one lucky winner. I cannot wait!!This is me. No makeup or filters. Just me.The last section of our trip was to Columbia, S.C. and Congaree National Park. We stayed in a tiny fairy cottage. So cute!! We hiked the boardwalk at the park and saw the swollen trunks of the Tupelo and Cypress trees as well as lots of widlife and other trees and plants that astounded us. This park has the highest canopy in the country!! Tall, tall trees. Then we saw the historic Gervais Street bridge, the S.C. state capitol, a stunning old Episcopalian church, and Murray lake. So many things. What a trip. South Carolina did not disappoint. We fell in love with Charleston. The history, archecture, and food. Oh, my. We needed another week!! We toured Fort Sumter, took a bus tour of the city, Tommy Dews walking tour, walked the city streets and market, and ate at Fleet Landing, Frannie and the Fox, and Church and Union. We stayed at the Ansoborough Inn. All were truly top-notch!! Seriously. We highly recommend. The Surfside Beach part of our vacation included the beach, seafood buffets, putt putt, a cold dolphin cruise, and Brookgreen Gardens. Thank you @bloom5147 Jim, Lynn, and Rick for playing with us!!Quotable
